About Us
We are Christian and Nick, English teachers by trade and the best of friends, who bonded over a shared love of the plays of Tennessee Williams, the music of Shirley Bassey, and the two for one drink offers in a (sadly now defunct) Essex gay bar. We have travelled the length and breadth of the UK (and boarded many a budget airline for overseas jaunts), in our ongoing mission to explore every nook and cranny of the gay scene. From drag bingo in Newcastle to Cilla Black singalongs in Benidorm, we have seen it all. And, after a lifetime of research, we are delighted to share our wine-soaked wisdom with the world in The One to Five Guide podcast.

In The One to Five Guide podcast, we explore the bars and clubs of the UK gay scene through a deep dive into the hilarious opinions of the great British public! Despite our thirty-year age gap, we have been touring the scene together for the past two decades and, in our comedy podcast, we revisit our favourite cities via a tongue-in-cheek trawl through the one to five star reviews on Google and Tripadvisor!
